We are looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join our client’s dynamic kitchen team in Northamptonshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate chef seeking a work-life balance, with sociable weekday hours and no late nights.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations and food preparation
• Ensure high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
• Supervise and support kitchen staff, ensuring smooth service
• Maintain excellent hygiene and safety standards in line with food regulations
• Stock control, ordering supplies, and managing kitchen inventory
• Assist in menu planning and the development of new dishes
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff
• Ensure compliance with allergen and dietary requirements

Requirements:
✔ Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie
✔ A strong passion for food and a keen eye for detail
✔ Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
✔ Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
✔ Must have own transport due to location
✔ Will be required to complete a DBS check upon registration
