Junior Sous Chef
Wilson Recruitment is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Junior Sous Chef for a prestigious hotel and event venue in Kettering. Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations.
Help with menu development and ensuring dishes are prepared to high standards.
Support in supervising and training junior kitchen staff.
Ensure kitchen cleanliness and adherence to health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
Assist with stock control, ordering supplies, and managing kitchen costs.
Contribute to the smooth running of event catering, including weddings and special occasions.
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience as a Junior Sous Chef or Chef de Partie in a similar role.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
A passion for cooking and an eagerness to learn and develop.
Knowledge of modern cooking techniques and food presentation.
Ability to work well under pressure and maintain high standards.
Relevant culinary qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3 in professional cookery).
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.
