HGV Technician

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HGVs and commercial vehicles.
Diagnose faults and carry out inspections using diagnostic equipment.
Complete major overhauls and repairs, including engine, transmission, brakes, and electrical systems.
Conduct MOT inspections and ensure all work is compliant with safety and legal standards.
Ensure documentation and service records are accurately maintained.
Work as part of a dedicated workshop team, ensuring efficient service and repair turnaround.
Requirements:

Previous experience as an HGV Technician or in a similar role.
Strong mechanical and technical skills with knowledge of diagnostic tools.
Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 3 in HGV Maintenance or equivalent).
A full UK driving licence (HGV licence is a bonus but not essential).
